I used to think everyone deserved kindness, but I’m beginning to think they need to earn it. People think I’m a pushover they can take advantage of, or that I’m so nice they can be rude, selfish, and/or mean to me, get away with it, and I’ll sill be nice to them, but that’s just taking my kindness for granted and makes me not trust or respect them.
